Open Letter from Darryl Hicks
To my family, friends, supporters, and all the residents of Fayette County, thank you for the support and encouragement you’ve shown throughout this campaign. While we didn’t achieve the result we hoped for, I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together.
I want to congratulate Commissioner Charles Oddo on his reelection and have already offered him my full support as he continues to work for our county.
Fayette County deserves leaders who listen, engage, and fight for a prosperous future, and I’m grateful to each of you who joined me on this journey.
I remain committed to our community and will continue working as a member of the Fayette County Development Authority board, advocating for smart growth and sustainable opportunities that benefit our residents and businesses alike.
This campaign may have come to an end, but my dedication to Fayette County is as strong as ever. I look forward to staying active and finding new ways to serve, ensuring that our voices are heard and that Fayette’s future remains bright.
